In the last trivia "debate" Rudd accused Abbott of reducing public hospital funding by $1 billion when he served as health minister in the former Howard government.
A check produced:
Abbott was the Health Minister who presided over the implementation of the five-year Health Care Agreements funding deals within the Howard Government which actually increased federal public hospital funding from $7.1 billion in 2002-03 to $9.8 billion in 2007-08.
