Waves to the MIAs.....

morning all

I'm supposed to be at the grand opening of a local bridge  at 10am so I'd better get a move on. Running late as usual lol

I've got that pair of ducks in the swimming pool again.  They visit for a few weeks every year.

It always makes me jump when I'm standing by the kitchen window in the morning and this little pair dive bomb the swimming pool out of nowhere.  I'd take a pic but it's messy and weedy out there 

Aww how cute. As you are near a big park I wonder why they choose your pool? Especially with Baloo hovering 🙂

I'm late, I'm late ..... what IS that song running through my head lol

well I am back, I didn't stay long at the morning tea afterwards.

It's a long story but residents have been campaigning for years to get a pedestrian railway crossing installed to the local cemetary. There was a crossing removed during a grade seperation which pretty much cut the suburb in half. Anyway our local state MP promised he'd reinstate it and he did. One of my friends here put a lot of work into it and she was one of the people the polly asked to cut the ribbon. So I couldn't miss that. The morning tea was actually in the cemetary,      I kid you not

but at least it was undercover, it's a bleak rainy morning here

lol Iza, I wonder what they'd think of it all. 

I always seem to spell cemetery incorrectly, i don't know why I keep doing that 

lol Deb, nothing much gets my undivided attention ..I corrected my post about 3 times up there.Sorry to those who may be frustrated by my muck ups .
