I got pulled over once and asked if there was any reason why I was doing 67 in a 60 zone.  Without even thinking I answered "yes, I am in a hurry!"  I then launched into this huge Marg Simpsonesque rant about all the things I had to get done that afternoon and how stressed I was.

 

He let me off Smiley SurprisedSmiley Very Happy

My sister's partner is a cop and helped her write an appeal for her speeding fine .. he said it's important to use particular words and phrases so she's sending me a copy. whoohooo!

 

I may as well give it a try (to appeal).
