At what age did your daughter have her ears pierced?

 

How young is too young do you think?

 

I was about 8 or 9 when I got mine done I think.

i was about 25 and my 15yo doesn't want to.

 

 

how young is too young?  i think it should be their decision.

About 12 yrs old. They mostly only wanted them done because other kids had them.

 

I was 18 when I had mine done.

 

I don't like to see babies with pierced ears, although I accept that some people get that done for cultural reasons.

not sure why i got mine done, really......i don't like earrings.

I always said when they were old enough to ask.
My OH didn't like to see boys with it done but when our son came home from pre primary with one drawn on he relented and it was done.

I was 8 and my dd was 8 (i wouldn't want her to have had them done any younger)....her older brothers pointed out that I didn't let any of them have their ear pierced at 8 .

I wasn't allowed to have mine done until I was 13 and I had to save up and pay for it myself.

I don't have daughters and only 1 of my sons has his pierced.  I think it was when he was at uni.

Youngest had one pierced about 3 years before the other.

As soon as the first one got done she leapt fromt he chair and made a run for it.

She wanted it done. Her father took her when her sister got hers done. I just laughed when he returned with one and half sets of pierced ears.

she was 5 after 2 years of nagging. The other about 10 I think. Me (blushes) 30 and had to have my hand held.

They got my step grand daughters ears pierced, she's 3 1/2 - too young imo

 

but not my child.....
