To all the lovely people who read my previous post asking for info with regard to my sick dad and who sent me beautiful messages, i just wanted to update the situation.

My beautiful dad passed away last night.  He was moved back to the nursing home on Monday and into a pallative care situation.  He was in extreme pain so they were able to call in the doctor and he received morphine to make him comfortable.  I saw him yesterday and he was sleeping peacefully.  They rang last night to let me know he had gone.  As you can imagine i am very sad but also relieved that he is no longer suffering.  He is resting in peace.
