how can they be held legally responsible for what other may say?

i was told the locked threads remain for a period of time so everyone knows it was locked and why, then it is removed

Mr G, Read around the internet.They can be If they fail to remove inappropriate site content...because that is what they are paid to do .

if and where it may be related to inappropriate sub judice content/publication ...it's the fact that it would be on the site that would be the concern ?

it may be a complete ban until after the event ? not just the guidelines and laws which apply to what other media sources can publish and not publish and at what stages they can and can't do it.
