They just give you a special cookie.  Clear cookies and cache and reboot.

I thuink you're confusing ISP for something else.

They couldn't block ISP because heaps of people use the same ISP.

You can use another computer/laptop/ipad at home if you have one , and/or as has been mentioned a smart phone. The ban is a ban on posting not a ban on reading the boards. 

How many people/homes have more than one ISP account(Telstra, Optus, Virgin etc).? We have one only.
