Sooky la las

Yes, sooky la las n dibber dobber fibbers lol

I have two wood ducks living in my garden. They snooze under a tree all day, then run to gobble up the bird seed and fly over the fence to poop in the neighbour's pool...and the neighbour chases them away, screaming through my garden waving a rake...and the ducks flap around a bit, then settle back under the tree. They're funny to watch!
.

Get them a very big bird bath, that might make them stay on your side. The fertilizer will be brilliant for the garden but keep them away from the tomatoes 🙂

Lol, lucky you haven't got a pool Karen

I have a bird bath but the ducks haven't discovered it yet. I think they prefer to drink pool water lol

I was thinking of getting a kids pool for them to paddle in, but my neighbour might not appreciate me encouraging them to hang around ...we'll end up on that dreadful NZ show about neighbours at war 😄
.

You could get one of those clam plastic wading pools. You can cover it up when the ducks are not in it to deter mozzies and it would be easy to clean

It is starting to cool a little here. This is the weather we had for the Olympic games at the same time in 2000. Beautiful warm sunny weather with an occasional cool day here and there.

I remember none of it.

I didn't have the kind of "flu" where one has a couple of panandol and then goes out for lunch and cakes and leisurely drives and "struggles" through work.

Watched the opening ceremony and by 2pm the next day I was out of it. I had the real flu, the one they call influenza where you miss entire days of your life and need assistance to pee and wipe. That kind. I missed ALL the Sydney Olympics. Still **bleep**ing bitter about that. Still don't get it when people talk about how funny Roy and HG were. I saw nothing.

Don't mention the war. Don't mention the Sydney Olympics.

Thank Goodness. I always knew it. Cat Wink

Apparently Roy and HG had this catch phrase about "whoops" and "butts" or something in their commentary. People talk about it and laugh and I nod and smile and pretend to get it. I have no **bleep**ing idea! It's a "You had to be there" kind of thing.
