morning 'nora 🙂

you know your'e old when your new trendy glasses are pretty much the same style of the new trendy ones you got a hundred years ago when you were 14.

Hi Icy Smiley Happy

You know you are old when you say "please" or "thankyou" without having to be prompted!!

when you tell your kids "oh paul newman was in that movie". and they say who?

Or "Excuse me" when you wish to get past someone. Say "pardon me" when I burp, I must be very old because I even say it when I'm all alone. When I sneeze, It's lovely to hear 10 year-oled Grandie saying"bless you" and I reply thank you, she then says "your welcome". I also remember the "silent cops".

Well I'm officially old, or at least I feel that way today, and I don't know what a silent cop is. Is it like a bollard or something?

A 'silent cop' was indeed a small 30cm diameter yellow bollard with reflectors around the circumference and stood about 100mm high. They used to sit in the middle of minor intersections to indicate the turning point of vehicles prior to the introduction of 'diamond point turns' in the early '70s (from memory). 🙂

i dont even have a GPS. I still use the Gregorys street directory
