when you cant find your mobile the battery goes flat so you cant ring it?

That is an inbuilt feature to aid the sellers.

 

If you cant locate it you buy a new one and then you are always on the cutting edge of the market, unless you don't have a cutting edge budget that is.

 

Other inbuilt feature is the automatic fault creation one week after the warranty expires. That's called technology in progress 🙂

 

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

its frustrating, as I have a 600km round trip tomorrow, and feel safer with a phone especially on the country roads.

normally I would be able to. But my family have conveniently gone interstate with thier own phones!

 

 I've just found my old phone, and I think there might be a pre paid sim card in the medicine cupboard. So that will cover me for safety, of course I wont have all my numbers saved on it though
