I don't believe him a true skeptic, more of an opportunist. especially when one takes his other past comments into account. Which is worse i wonder. knowingly being deceptive, or being genuinely clueless.

did you hear this quote from Tony Abbott ?
Here, Iza, fixed that for you:
"The argument [behind climate change] is absolute xxxx. However, the politics of this are tough for us. Eighty per cent of people believe climate change is a real and present danger."
It's tough when science conflicts with Political messages ....and the interests of big businesses
actually, it's tough when things are presented in context and then they conflict with misguided beliefs.
What you claim that Mr Abbott said is very different to what he actually said, eh?

here it is AGAIN, in context
"The argument [behind climate change] is absolute xxxx. However, the politics of this are tough for us. Eighty per cent of people believe climate change is a real and present danger."

I wonder what question was asked and where the info is to back his statement of 80% believing it is a real and present danger ?
I read it and feel that It makes anyone who believes that it is an issue our Government needs to manage sensibly
appear as though they are thinking in fear as though the world may end tomorrow ...rather than rational people looking at the climate change and the science of it and recognising that ourGovernment needs to seriously take it into consideration and address managing it.

Why was Greenland called Greenland when it is covered in snow... and now that it is going green again and the people can start to grow their own food and not have to import it all how is that a bad thing?
