Sorry to read you having a bad time at the moment Iza.  I do hope you can resolve some of the issues for your son - the pain of a Mum not being able to 'fix' everything for them is particularly awful.  Chin up girl .... you are made of strong stuff Smiley Happy

Flashie, as usual you have come up with some great ideas for the parade. Although I do like Karen's nursery rhymes I doubt they would be received in the same spirit lol

The history of nursery rhymes is particularly interesting - I recall TGSE talking about them at some time too - social comment in the context of the period!

Have a good day all - more rain here today and no let up in sight sadly!

.

Hi Laney , thanks . As you say I am strong ..if anything could bring me down it would be  watching my children hurting which I know is as it is with us Mums .He will get through this .

Sorry to hear you're having some problems that can't be fixed Iza. Hey, the shipping container sounds good. It gets a bit hard to keep everyone happy when they're getting a bit older. They all need their own space. In our house one tries to study and one brings friends home and plays loud music & I'm in the middle of it

Hey Iza, I lived in a shipping container in the nt. They welded a few containers together, chopped holes for doors and windows, then called it employee housing lol

It sat on top of Bessel bricks and blew half off during a big cyclone. My neighbour's one got rusty and she fell through the floor haha.

If your area is prone to cyclones, rain or extreme heat, I don't recommend living in shipping containers lmao.

I ha to edit this to remove a ;\ you're lol
.

Karen, I just read a couple of pages of the thread you bumped, gosh I miss MissP posting here

Yeah I miss her too, Deb. She is so funny! I miss Impy too, especially her spoon collection and the puke in her mouth lmao. She cracked me up!
.

Yes, miss impy too, was just reading some of her posts

ah well you just never know Woman Happy

I have to use a courier service to send something to NSW . I've never done it before, pretty expensive but they pick it up, pack it and deliver straight to the other person's door
