Thanks for your concern every one.  He's not worse and he's not better just making sure he has plenty of fluids and lots of rest.  If it keeps persisting then we will go back to the doctor.  His temp is all over the shop and has still registered at 39.6 today.  I'm guessing if it is the flu some other symptoms will come out in the coming days.
