Good morning Stringsters 🙂

First in ....best dressed....!!

It is a glorious day in Sydney today. Perfect gardening weather.

I chose something from the menu last night cooked in a way I had never had before. It was rolled lamb shoulder, slow cooked with a 'crust' of sourdough bread. It was melt in the mouth delicious. It was simply served with green beans and a potato mash which had caramelised onion in it. My DD had it too and agreed it was yummy. I remember my mother cooking lamb shoulder as it was inexpensive at the time but it never tasted like this LOL

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning to Everyone  here Smiley Happy

Good morning everyone.  I can see the sun and I hope it stays around for a little while today.

I had better go shopping too Deb.  I bought the bathmat and now I desperately need new towels to match.  Domino effect.

Good morning Stringers 🙂 Ive had a lazy start to my weekend and got caught by the 7th Dayers in my dressing gown. Unfortunately they insisted on talking with me and no amount of explaining that I don't read the bible or want to turn into a 7th Dayer would make them go away, and then I stuffed it completely by making an interested face at a pic of a penguin on their magazine..,.so I had to hear about that, too, plus every other story in the **bleep** magazine.. and the other edition as well...criez. Then I idiotically said that I do believe in evolution, so they spent ages telling me why they don't. Ugh,,.. so I took the magazines, thinking they'll score God points for their work today, but they looked excited and said they'll be back...criez more...and even worse, they don't live far away.

Then I needed another cup of coffee.

Karen, give them an inch and they take a mile

I have a very funny story to tell about a friend of mine.

when  Vic had no gas  we were advised to be very careful in turning everything on again. One of my friends (who has hair down to her bottom) had arranged for my OH to come and help her with hers.  She decked herself out in a raincoat, gumboots, shower cap and goggles. When there was a knock at the door, she opened it and said "let's do it"

the 7th dayers have not bothered her again since   Woman LOLWoman LOL

at last OH is ready to go Woman Frustrated

see you later everyone!

Deb, that's just so hilarious lol13_a.gif
