I must admit I paid little attention to Flannery's utterances in the past,  other than to  "wonder" why the ALP would have a palaeontologist   as the head of the Climate Commission, and after his drought predictions  (rained out) and sea level rise forecasts (dried up) regarded him as an  ALP  mouthpiece to underwrite the " never to be introduced carbon tax. '

Some  of the Climate Commission releases were based on the BOM studies/data, also the CSIRO,  (no original scientific studies from the CC) however,  these respected scientific  bodies mentioned still exist if you want good apolitival science relating to meteorology and climatology.
