I tried to donate but the site has crashed, so I'll have to try again later.
Thousands have donated and I'm sure there'll be many thousands more, following the press conference.
I think it's the best news of the day. I hate how the right wingers try to dumb down the population by hiding information and spreading their negative propaganda. Some of us choose not to be like their avid followers.
It seems their sites are being banned.

Don't know. I saw something about their twitter account and paypal being suspended this morning but Roadside Assist turned up before I had time to check it out further. I had a dead battery 😄

I bet there were "alarmists" on Easter Island all those years ago, telling the popuation that if they didn't pull their heads in the island was going to become uninhabitable - and I bet there were people just like you laughing at them..

FN: "Don't know. I saw something about their twitter account and paypal being suspended this morning"
So why not confirm it before posting ? As the site appears to be running perfectly.
LL: "try a direct deposit, paypal have embroiled themselves in politics before, bunch of lackeys"
So why not confirm it before posting ? Who exactly are PayPal "lackeys" off LL?
I must admit I paid little attention to Flannery's utterances in the past, other than to "wonder" why the ALP would have a palaeontologist as the head of the Climate Commission, and after his drought predictions (rained out) and sea level rise forecasts (dried up) regarded him as an ALP mouthpiece to underwrite the " never to be introduced carbon tax. '
"Flannery bears much closer resemblance to a religious evangelist than a scientist. His doomsday prophecies, radical solutions and religion-like certainty are all indicators of his status as a modern-day climate prophet, rather than expert scientific advisor."
Some of the Climate Commission releases were based on the BOM studies/data, also the CSIRO, (no original scientific studies from the CC) however, these respected scientific bodies mentioned still exist if you want good apolitival science relating to meteorology and climatology.
