Cats.  AAaaargh!  I'm pretty sure now that Fishbait does have dementia.  She is also looking quite healthy so I think I've got years of it still to come.

Her food bowl is up on a bunch in the laundry so that the dog can't eat it.  Fishbait has now decided that she can't jump up there anymore so she needs to be picked up when she is hungry.  Like about fifty times a day.

We don't have a cat door either which is a problem.  When she's out she wants to come in.  When she's in she wants to go out and usually at 4am.

I'm late but replying anyway.

I feel your pain, except my pain is a dog with dementia: I'm out let me in, I'm in let me out. I'm in, you sneezed so now I'm going to bark at you. On and on and on.

I bought a robo vac last weekend and kept the dog out for it's first use as I was sure she would freak out. She barked once and then silently watched it through the glass sliding doors and got bored after 5 minutes. Hasn't even gone near the thing and it's sitting on the floor charging. She's forgotten it is her future enemy.

They sure are Deb - there is going to be a purple invasion lol

Some are flying Perth/Singapore/Melbourne as the domestics are really price gouging and going via Singapore is way cheaper - crazy eh!

Others are coming home Melbourne/Auckland/Perth!!!!

The traffic across the Nullarbor is hotting up too lol

.

That's cool, buzz, I'd love one of those robo vacs. Does it work ok? I'd be interested to hear your opinion of it in a few weeks
.

Buzz how old is your dog?

Reason I ask is that perhaps he/she might be a candidate for the iodine treatment our cat had successfully.  It gave her a few more years of good life without the yowling.

.

Robo Vac works great on the hard floors to wipe up and sorta suck up the cat hair. It sucks up bits of grit and dirt well, but wipes up cat hair rather than sucking it all up. After 50 mins of it acting like a drunken man on a slightly circular yet angular rampage, it shuts off and the cat hair is all trapped underneath in it's wipey, rubber things.

I am in bare feet at the moment, which is saying something. Before my Robo Vac boyfriend I absolutely would not walk around in bare feet because I can't stand cat hair in between my toes.
