Busy, busy here (plaiting colours for Saturday) - way to go!

yes. Joono & Laney, we've got your weather.

gale force wnds, rain , hail the whole lot. We even lost power for a few hours today.

& yesterday was so beautiful, oh well, that's Melb for you

I did Laney but by pure luck.  I got some in Red Dot.  They did have bags of just one colour of balloon in every colour but purple but I found two packets of metalic balloons.  25 multi coloured.  I thought they both had a few purple ones but it was hard to tell with the packaging.

When I checked them at home I found that between the two packets I'd scored 16 purple ones.  I just need a few more whites now and that will be easy.

I made a mess with one of the other things on my list.  The booze!  I bought a slab of beer thinking it was stubbies but it's not, it's cans.  If that turns out not to be ok I will take them back tomorrow and see if they can swap them for stubbies.  I just don't know whether they are fussy about what they drink out of.

Sorry Deb.  Missed your post.  That's not good.  I hope it passes quickly and doesn't settle in like it did here.

I got our supplies for the boys today too.............meat pies...........pasties.............pepsi max...........and chips..........and ear plugs for me.......

I've still got to get the chippies and also the lamb and fresh rolls.  I'm doing the traditional footy game roast lamb rolls for half time.

Yep..........for the footy.

I plan on making our grandsons costume on Saturday............anything to keep me out of the loungeroom while the three men umpire the game.

Funny thing is none of them have teams in the finals.
