Anyway - enough said.  I will try to confine my comments to nic's thread henceforth 

If you all want to talk football......talk away..............heaven knows I prattle on enough about family history and stuff and you all read it..............

Here a few weeks ago hubby and went out for lunch........and as I sat down in the cafe I ripped the back of the leg of my brand new jeans...............and cut my leg.

Normally I would not have said anything....................but my jeans were brand new..............and now they had a huge hole in them.

So I said something to the cafe owner...............and she told me that if I bought in the receipt they would give me the money for thee jeans...............so I did.

I had not got around to buying the new jeans until tonight....................hubby wanted to go and get a new fishing rod for our son whose birthday it is next week.................and while he was looking I went to get another pair of jeans.

I was so pleased...............the jeans were on special..........so I thought I would grab two pair.

When we went through the checkout they scanned at $1.00 a pair.

So while hubby put the fishing rod in the car and had a smoke I went back in and scanned a few more pair..............and the whole rack were scanning for $1.00 a pair.

So I grabbed three pair each for both our daughters for Christmas........and I still had change.

Who would have thought a ripped pair of jeans could work out so profitable.

I have to go and get the stubbies 

Maybe the aluminium will affect your brain more than the beer will.  No, seriously I can understand that. You like things how you like them and especially on such an auspicious day.  Poor thing is arriving by plane at mid day so I hope there are no delays in flights.

How can they sell jeans for $1 Flashie!  What a great special.
