In the news article I read this morning. He was 50kg at 7 or 8 years old and 70kg when he died. I'm posting from my phone at the moment so can't get the link, I assumed (how stupid of me) that Icy's link was the same as the one I read. If you really want it, I'll find it for you when I'm posting from the pc.

EM, I did thnk of P W syndrome, but thought that the children's services would have thought about that and had it published I the news, if only to cover their behinds on closing his case.

Sorry, the first part of my post was in reply to Twinks question re. how I knew the boys weight.

The boy had sleep apnoea, related to his obesity, and by mid-2009 he weighed almost 70 kilograms. Medical appointments were made for him, including with a surgeon to decide if he should have his tonsils and adenoids removed, but many appointments were missed and the surgery never took place, the court heard. He had already missed 103 days of school in the year he died.
