Ibis , non resident would mean that a green card is not needed for either of them

  1. green card
    Noun
(in the US) A permit allowing a foreign national to live and work permanently in the US.

do you need a definition for non-resident ?

yes i think i do

Julia Gillard will use her credentials as an "education reformer" when she starts work with a leading US think tank on advancing girls' schooling in developing countries.

A 2011 study examining think tank employee donations from 2003 to 2010 showed that 97.6% of Brookings's employees' political donations went to Democrats.

Oh gosh, Democrats and  "girls' schooling" sounds like whatever you think sounds good.

You want to "moan" about  sexism, stop displaying it,  and think about the demise of a male, Rudd..Myopic Tongues2 Small.jpg

this thread is about Julia Gillard . She is not Kevin Rudd .

advancing girls' schooling in developing countries.

as far as that being sexist

if  2/3 of the illiterate people in the world weren't women ....I may agree

It means she does not have to live in the USA to work for them

They have telephones and email and even the internet there.

MM,Considering the chuckle store threads of yours . I'm sure that you wouldn't/couldn't have a problem with another poster posting that post of yours in another thread which asks

Are We Living In A Fundamentally Sexist Society ?

there is so much in the one post which would be beneficial to that thread

the post where you suggested I stop being sexist and think about 'The Man' ...on a thread about Julia Gillard
