It was Laney.................it is always nice to catch up with distant family.

And tomorrow we get to do the birthday stuff all over again.

I have to make two pavlovas for that one though.

Daylight saving again.  That means I will be three hours behind.

I just saw a story on the news and although it wasn't a good story it was kind of cute.  There was a fire in a newsagency and also the vet next door was filled with smoke.  Luckily there was a vet nurse that lived close by and she was able to unlock the vet place and let the firemen know how to get to the three patients inside.

It was just very cute seeing them carry one of the poor little doggies out on a stretcher   All the dogs were safe.
