And thats a problem. Many think, ohh its a boy and he would be thrilled to have a 21 yr old girlfriend and he probably gets big pats on the back by his mates.

From what has been explained to me by the local police...if the underage person is with someone less than 2 years older than them, they really cannot do anything unless the child gives statement. They won't investigate at all. If age gap is greater, they will investigate but again unlikely able to do anything without statement from child.

Yes, that has what has been posted here on CS before from other parents as well, with real life experience with this topic.

As to the question in a previous post - what are we to do... give an opinion asasked: is it wrong or not? The OP did not ask for advice on how to handle this set of circumstances.

Circumstances that we know little detail of so difficult to give advice anyway.
