Right click on the little envelope, choose open link in new tab and a new tab should pop up with the messages. Your CS page will still be there and you can read/post as normal.

You can refresh the message tab to see if you have new msgs.

You know you can put people on ignore and they can't send you msgs (insert devil smiley)?

My teenager recently taught me that instead of right clicking and selecting open in new tab, you can click the scrolly wheel on your mouse. It does the same thing.
