and? it works.
divided room in half with bookshelves and screens don't have stands, had to be screwed to a wall - no wall so had to gaffer tape them to the book shelves behind them so they didn't fall off!
you're very mean.

What price range was a laptop in, in 1998, just me karen? We had ones supplied by work around that time, so obviously didn't pay for them so don't know what they cost then.
Apple laptops may have bigger screens but do they have ENORMOUS screens? (what size is enormous anyway, OP didn't specify size).

It's her thread
Of course it is, but if he/she wants to ask me questions that are insulting and abusive personally towards me,I am not going to be dragged into replying to them.

I have had my laptop hard drive replaced under extended guarantee recently. It is nearly 3 yrs old.techo said to me; hard drives usually live for about 3 years and was surprised mine lasted 6 years (desktop though)
i was interested how long the extended warranty was for and whether the $240 outlay is worth it coz hard drive replacements costs about that.
At least crikey posts photos of her set up. What do we know about the OP's claims.. no brand name, no screen size.......
Extended warranties we have paid for cost around $80-$100.
Usually 1 yr manufacturers warranty then you can choose a choice of extended 1, 2 or 3 years etc.
One laptop we have here ASUS, had a 2 yr manuf wty and we bought 3 yr extended. It has been repaired 3 times. The 5 yrs is still not up yet, but it is pretty stuffed and out of date.

How times have changed. 😞 When I was young, no matter how proud you were of your big red snake, it wasn't polite to show it in public. 😛

Yes, current apple laptops do have enormous screens and they're very expensive. Mostly they're for graphic designers and engineers, I think?
Crikey that's an embarrassing computer, no wonder you need duct taped screens!
