LOL, you must be easily pleased if you think less than $2000 buys you a great computer!

tell us about your set up?

mine (quad core) cost me a grand and the specs are big everything

I know... I just bought a pc for my son... great little gaming machine... on sale from a chain store but still top range..... $1200 for us.

I think the op is either gullible or boasting... not sure what yet..

As for how can I be here and work?  part time work, weekends, late and short days are all in my 6 week rotating roster. That means I get to waste many hours of my life here if I choose.

My laptop was a cheapie............. less than $600 and now about 5 yrs old....... in 10 years, I have had 2 pc's........... both cost only around $1000..... this one is now 3 yrs old, touchscreen.

I want a touch screen... when this one dies I will get one.

Option 3: fabrication.

No, it was a typo, she meant to say 200 not 2000. Govt sponsored computers are around 200 and I bet they're great for chat or even lurking 🙂

oh no! the children love it! they are lined up for it, lol

arghhhhh touch screens. I am constantly cleaning the one on my phone 😞

Never mind touchscreens, I'm fightting  a running - and losing - battle with the touchpad on my lappy. My paragraphs  often end up totally illegible and look as if they were written by someone with severe dyslexia.Smiley Sad

I'd have to be really into PC usuage to believe that  a decent computer is one which costs $2000
