Would we be saying the same for Dennis Ferguson and the list of known filthy paedophiles as well, I guess they all had families.

Freddie, Chopper did turn his life around in his later yrs, the ones you mentioned didnt as far as I know.

Chopper gave  to many charities in his last few yrs.........the others didnt, so it isnt the same.......

Say goodbye to your Uncle Chop Chop

Ferguson was 64 when he died, so perhaps he didn't get the opportunity for a lifechange?... Read was treated like a celebrity... Ferguson was not.

No loss to society, either of them.

his victims were someones family too.

only they never got a chance to turn their lives around because of this murdering thig.

good riddance and may he never know what peace is.

He was a waste of space. How he ever became a cult hero to some I will never know.  He was a psychopath.

I hope those who had their lives ruined by that man find some peace now. Far too much media coverage made him a hero of sorts?

was a known liar, never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

I'll tell u a true story, I was hiring some dvd's and with a new release you got a new one for free, so I grabbed chopper, anyhoo when I was returning it as I placed it on the counter and walked out the shop who walked past me?  Yep, the man himself!  Never seen him before in my hood and never did again!

I never read his book, or would contribute in any way to his income. lol. He managed that rather well on his own.

I have a signed book by him, a very weird book called Hooky the Cripple, very strange indeed

I agree with that.

Considering his past he lived the end of his life as a decent human who loved his wife and was a loving father to his boys. That can't be said about many other people with that kind of history.
