Signatures suck.

Stands on cynic side.

Hate the ipad for posting. He was a bad man, I have never understood the celebrity/hero status.
Media can turn anything around.

Same here, but I have been told what a wonderful man he was - did you know he gave a liver that was about to be transplanted into him to a ten year old child who needed it (or maybe 12 year old) ...the legend just grows and grows.

That cracked me up az ..pmsl!

Why was he in an orphanage for the first 5 years of his life?.  After that he lived with both his parents, for a few years at least.

His mother a strict Seventh Day Adventist.. why did she put her baby son in an orphanage and leave him there for 5 years?

He was afraid of his mother. "When I was born my mother said that I was not a gift from God, things went downhill from there. My mother was a devout Seventh Day Adventist who placed religion above anything else … I had no mother. She was devoted to her church and that was it, and you were either with her or against her," he told ABC TV's More Than Enough Rope .

It sounds like the mum had some mental health concerns.

Why not leave him in the orphanage? Seems strange to bring him home when he was 5 yrs old.  A real orphan baby/toddler might have been adopted out by the age of 5.
