lol, we got dad a yucky brown recliner from Harvey Norman Smiley Tongue  Actually its very comfortable and matches the oak hall table/desk and the timber bookcase units we bought him. His tv is to be mounted on the wall and I'm considering changing his drapes to venetian blinds, maybe timber. His room looks out on a nice garden.

I love that we can personalise the room.

Woman Embarassed well, brown would fit with that! sorry. I have an aversion to brown!

However, the bed and bedside chest are pale laminate colour. So... red fits better.

Dad has a nice outdoor patio and we are going to do a hanging garden on the boring paling fence too! It makes it nicer for them and for us because we feel we are doing something to make their lives better. 🙂

Thanks Newstart. 🙂

I have another story.......................

October is a special month for me, it is why I am here to see my children grow up, marry and have families of their own.

I kept seeing breast cancer awareness everywhere I went for a few weeks and it niggled me................. I made enquiries and discovered that it was for women over 50, 8 years away for me.

However, that niggling voice didn't go away. I asked my GP what I was supposed to look for, how it was supposed to feel. I could not feel anything untoward.

He checked and said all was fine, nothing there but go and have a mammogram if you are concerned.

After another 2 weeks I gave in to that voice................... and discovered I had a very aggressive breast cancer. Something sent me on that path.

You have a very active Guardian Angel by the look of it AzWoman Happy
