same here, you really appreciate it after a few bad days

It must be the day for it.  I've done bed sheets, kitchen stuff and now I'm on to dark clothing.

My cleaning out has not gone well.  I need the owners of all this junk to give me the ok.  I put an old broken down lawn mower out and that has already been taken.  If they had waited on for a bit they could have had one of the old whipper snippers that doesn't work any more too.

Joono

I posted a few days ago about my sister and her throw-outs j*oono.  She was sprung because she did NOT wait for the OK (she would never have got it anyway)

.

Hi Joono, we must get rid of some junk soon too, I have to ring the council to get them to take it away. We've started a pile that we keep adding things to

funny the things people take, last tme we put some furniture, it wass all gone within 30 mins, & I'm talking big heavy things. I had to ring the council to cancel the pick up because they took the whole lot  Smiley Surprised

How often will they do a pick up from you Deb?  We only have one junk collection a year but 3 green waste ones.

I found out only last week that our recycling bins are now being collected weekly instead of fortnightly ...... I thought people were mistaking the collection dates lol.

.

It's good isn't it.  I'm glad it's taken straight away.

However, I just went out there and I am pretty angry with whoever took the lawn mower.  They left an old tyre in it's place and the council won't pick up tyres so I'm stuck with it.  All I can hope now is that the lawn mower sits rusting away in their garden for the next ten years Smiley Very Happy

Joono

we can call the council out twice a year Laney, I liked it much better when everyone did it at the same time though

we have a little household rubbish bin, weekly collection, a huge recycle bin ( nearly as big as me) and a green waste bin. the recycle and green waste goes in consectutive weeks

yeah that's a bit rough Joono when people dump other stuf

Charming j*oono - aren't there some revolting people around.

Could you phone your local council and explain what happened and see whether they will make some sort of exception because of the circumstances?

I have seen some others around the traps somewhere - perhaps they might like it for their collectionSmiley Wink

They could either build on their collection or make one of those ghastly, revolting swan things to sell on ebaySmiley Wink

.

I'm heading outdoors to work on my tan a bit while I can

see you later!
