Well that was choice, little silky frizzy was egg bound wasn't she? Trying to lay an egg all day (I was out but she was still trying when I came home) I just had to smother her bottom in oil 😐

Egg popped out very quickly after that.

Not as bad as the time I had to "yadda yadda" my gelding with the baby oil and the gloves - you work that one out :|:_|

Yeah she's still sore I think, still on the laying shelf but an egg popped out very quickly, have to feed them sunflower seeds as they are oily but there are sunflower seeds in the layers blend I give them. She's only recently started laying.

Or are you 😮 about the gloves, the oil & the gelding?

both.... and no way am I now getting chooks.....
I used to have those arm length gloves to give cows suppositories when they lost calves....can't believe I did it.....:-(
