Sorry Pimpy, I get you now lol

hi Laney

Thanks Pimpy......................but I have to make it....................they do not want any bought costumes.

Hi Deb

I have been catching up on the bushfire news in my old stamping grounds!

So sad so many places in Catherine Hill Bay were destroyed.  Spent many happy weekends there - their old pub had THE best verandah for sitting on and soaking up the atmosphere. That has survived but much of the heritage of the area has gone.   Thankfully no lives lost there but not as fortunate elsewhere.

Cannot help thinking of the fires we had here in the hills a couple of years ago when I look at the devastation.

That is not to diminish the terrible fires in Victoria but I was not actively involved in the aftermath of those so the impact is not that great on me.

.

Our daughter just sent me this...............poor Sye...........I bet he is plotting his revenge.....his eyes are a bit of a give away.

Notice the Christmas doona set on the bed........ our middle grandson is still obsessed with Christmas.

Gee Flashie you get set some 'interesting' projects lol

Still - you are so good at that sort of thing, it is no wonder you are the go-to-nanna even for the adults lol

His 'body-language' clearly shows he is not a happy chappy lol

Good morning Stringsters.

The skies here are still clouded with smoke but we are told there is burning off happening during the lull and that is the cause of the haze. So many sad stories and so many brave people. It is hard to fathom how people recover from the trauma.

morning everyone & Hi Prim Heart

that eerie haze you get in cities is awful. So many homes lost in these fires too

they are now saying 193 homes destroyed and 109 damaged with 95% or properties surveyed

Good morning everyone and great to see you Prim Smiley Happy

I do feel so sorry for all the people that have been so badly affected by the fires and lost their homes.  Hard to imagine. Hopefully they can get it all under control as the weather conditions are going to take a turn for the worse again so I just read.

Not sure what my plans are today.  Our local Ag show is on but it's raining here today and as this year will be no different from last year and the year before I might not bother.  Maybe I will.
