Karen...............I think you should grow more........................................tomato.................*runs*

but not zuchinni!

Flashie, the mutant tomatoes are thriving, there are two plants with bunches of almost-ripe tomatoes. Each time they ripen, I dig them into the soil,,, but this time I'll keep some seeds because they're the hardiest tomato plants I've ever had. One day I might like them again,,,ewww...

I'll definitely be growing zucchini ...and I know who I'll ask when I need recipes lol

.

We don't have much that goes unused from our veggie garden.........thanks to four guinea pigs.

Our mint plant has gone stupid and there is heaps of it.................they love it.

Hubby was given by one of the grandchildren an old tubby bin that they kept toys in..........we are going to see it we can grown ONE zuchinni plant in it this year.............last year we put in three plants and as they grew they bent the sides of the raised garden beds.

I can not be bothered going back to edit my last post to add more..........so I will just post another post.....no way would I be anywhere near 500 today.

Laney..................I had to water...........the 90% chance of rain at 3 o'clock didn;t happen..........and so far the 90% chance of heavy rain at 6 o'clock is no where to be seen.

Not a drop...............how can the weather man get is so wrong.

But on the upside.......................no wind......(does a little happy dance)

We had whiting and veggies for tea...........except hubby..........he had lamb chops.

Zucchinis must love your climate, Flashie. You're lucky to have guinea pigs to recycle the scraps. I'm planning on getting a few chooks, but in the meantime I'll be composting everything...especially tomatoes.

.

The guy over the back fence from us has chooks..........and a duck.............I rarely hear them.......and never smell them at all.

We used to have a cat called Oliver who used to spend a lot of time watching his chooks............I think the silly boy actually decided to jump in the yard.........and got short shifted by the duck, because he came home with a nasty scratch on his nose.........he was happy just to watch after that.

Guess what.

Marge Marge..............the rains are 'ere!!!

Smiley LOLSmiley LOLSmiley LOL

.

Hooray for rain, the weatherman was right for once. I don't want rain here cos my dirt pile will wash away...got a tarp over it, just in case.

I have pet wild ducks, Flashie 😄 they're wood ducks and they come right up to my door to honk for bird seed,..,and when I'm outside they run up to me. I'm not sure if they're running up to bite me, or beg from me lol

They're really cute! Someone else must've trained them.
.

It rained here again this afternoon too so gave up on the fish ferns lol

Oh Karen, careful of the 'messages' they leave behind if you are going out in bare feet.

So so squishy lol
