I've walked the perimeter of our property before dark, just to make sure sure there are no more distressed baby ringtails on the ground. All good so far.

Think you might be right there with that Joz ... Smiley Indifferent

Debra, we rescued a baby ringtail possum one Christmas day, poor little thing was so tiny but had it's fur at least.  We called the wildlife rescue people and they picked it up around 7pm, thankfully, it thrived.  Don't know what happened to it's mother.  They're not so common as the brush tailed variety out there.

Thanks Debra, I should have guessed that, am not on Facebook or any of the social media sites, just don't have the time.

Thanks Joz, yes I know it's a great thread and it's nice you acknowledge its superior quality.

Lol tas, the smileys were for a snipo? Lol!!

omg, did you just cough up an lolcat?

Signatures suck.

I was pretty upset that I lost that one this morning, he survived the night, but I guess it was a bad time for Wildlife rescue here being a Sunday night.

I'm not on FB either, but I do like to catch up with the latest news stories on twitter

I think we would have been so upset if the little one we rescued had not survived too Debra, they are so tiny and fragile aren't they, dear little things.
