It's absolulety pouring here, I can hardly hear myself think

 

 

Who would've thought it after our hottest Oct day on record a few days ago?  

No rain here though we did have about 3 drops late this afternoon. The smoke haze is gone but I expect it will be back tomorrow given the weather forecast.

 

Let's hope the forecasters are wrong and the winds do not eventuate.

Hi Prim.  I was just listening to the news not long ago and they are forecasting very dangerous conditions.  I hope that anyone that is in danger leaves as soon as they are told to if things turn for the worse.

 

We must have had our wettest Spring for ages and yet NSW needs it.  It is quite beautiful now.

 

Good morning Stringers 🙂 Beautiful day here. I hope the fires don't do what's expected...was reading the rfs with suggestions on what to pack when evacuating. Gee it'd be hard choosing what's important to take, apart from the paperwork, kids and pets.

thinking of all those who are fire affected in NSW. hope the weather isn't as bad as predicted

Good morning stringsters,cold,wet and miserable so I have decided to stay home and not go to the market....I just wish this rain would venture northwards & help put out the fires,its hard to imagine devastating bushfires at this time of year:-(I heard that 4 young kids were responsible for lighting some fires...what is happening to make children want to do that??

Guess what..............it is Wednesday........and I don;t care...............I am on holidays this week.

 

Tomorrow is a holiday here for showday.

 

Todays mission is the owl costume.............I want to get it done and out of the way......thank goodness someone else is making the pea green boat..............I was not sure how I would have made that one.

We had rain overnight here with the two loudest claps of thunder I have ever heard in my life. One immediately after the other. The house shook for many seconds and I actually could not quite work out whether it was thunder or two explosions. Unfortnately it only made it slippery and dangerous for the firefighters in the mountains so the rain was no help there.

 

The winds have started and it is getting very hot. Not good.

Prim I saw on the news that you had lots of lightening activity last night. scarey when it's close though

It is a gorgeous day here Deb........the rotten weather and wind is due back tomorrow..........................and continuing right through our show week.

 

No way would I be getting on any of those rided in high winds.............I wonder if they will even be allowed to operate.
