I remember him well.  I remember joking about him becoming our PM.

to those who accuse abbrot's detractors of makin' the fires a political issue.

abbrot is a political animal, he made 'imself a political issue when he stood for a particular political party view, in a political election

he's promoted who he is, and the various organisations that he's a member of, includin' the davidson rural fire service.

What about the thousands upon thousands of joe blow's who do voluntary work on a daily basis some without as much as a thanks? Those people often end up out of pocket, and they don't bill the Tax payer for their efforts.
