Hi Laney, we opted for take-away and we're watching Whitechapel on ABC. It's a bit of creepy one tonight

The week-ends always go way too quickly in our opinion, lol

That is what I like about my intermittent work Deb - every day can be a weekend lol

Enjoy your movie

Hi Stringers 🙂

I planted coriander and my pet wild birds jumped all over it, so it's looking worse for wear. I've never had success with coriander.

Also, my trained little green parrots brought their new baby to visit! It's so cute and fluffy, it can barely fly. I was feeding its mum and dad some banana and the baby came and perched on my finger, awwwww so cute.

Did some shovelling, planting, had a picnic by the river, played with the birds and other boring stuff. That's the end of Saturday 😄

Does not sound boring to me Karen - sounds like an enjoyable and productive day in good company Smiley Happy

I rarely have luck with coriander either - it always bolts although I have seen where you can get 'non-bolting' coriander - never tried it though.  I gave up and get it at the markets Smiley Frustrated

We were going down to the West End tonight to see their light show for the festival - I have a case of the 'can't be bothereds' atm so looks like we will go tomorrow night.

Good morning Stringsters

Karen, I have been told that too much sun makes the coriander go to seed so, if its not too late put in in a more shaded section of the garden.

Our skies are still full of smokey haze.

Not much other news

Have a good day everyone.

morning everyone Smiley Happy

It's awful when the air is like that Prim

Today is the first day here where I am not going to get blown into the middle of next week...............so hubby and I are off out to enjoy it................................the others are still in bed.........so they can stay there.

Enjoy your day out Flashie, we're heading out too, but not till this afternoon

Good morning Stringers 🙂 the small boy came back and did an hour digging holes for fruit trees. He wants me to grow nectarines, lemons and apples because he likes them. He works so hard, I had to give him an early mark because I'd run out of jobs and he didnt fancy pulling out the ferns.

I've never managed to grow coriander to bolting stage, Prim. Hopefully this time I'll succeed in my brand new garden bed. Coriander is my absolute favourite herb, just love the smell.
