if i ever get the urge to shoot a person, wonder if he will volunteer?

i havent gone out much since his death 25 or so years ago, but i'd say it was the best time i spent with him.

same here, or its a combination of net addiction which distracts me from getting off my arrrs

approx 3 years since he carked it

i used to take him to my hot spots inshore too, of course he enjoyed all types of fishing as well

i knew he had problems but while fishing it was like he was a live, a different person

best fish buddy i ever known

Signatures suck.

net addiction ? i hadn't given that kind of thing much thought, but i guess i have a bit of a habit too . i still get everything done though, and i talk rubbish when i'm working. i dont bother with FB or any of that stuff , just reading etc. Smiley Happy

i heard he is a bit of a rogue so go for it

However, apparently this incident occurred in 2009, the man did not take office until September 2010.

At the time Borsak shot the elephant he was the head of the NSW Game Council..

The Game Council was under the umbrella  of the corrupt Primary Industries Minister Ian McDonald, who supported hunting in national parks and creating game reserves.

The Game Council was formed on the condition that it was self funded.

However, under McDonald it received generous funding.

The Game Council was granted government (taxpayer) funds of millions of dollars per annum eg  $3.6m in 2008, in addition to Borsak receiving $342 per day for meeting attendance.  All this was prior to him holding office in the NSW Upper House.
