to be honest Sprinkles. I've been waiting for an opportunity to ask. We've been going on a few late night walks over summer. and we've spotted 3 tawny's that sit on the power lines at night here & that made me think of monsters and her little one

Glad to hear he's doing well monsters. When you can, would love to see a pic of him

Hi Sprinkles :-),

We'll be fine, at least for another day or two, have long-life milk, bread in the freezer, lots of food for the animals.

I'm hoping Screech will hang around the property, hoping he will find a wife (or husband - "he" may well be a "she"!) and raise some bubbas of their own - and hopefully they won't be flushed out of the nest by a naughty monitor!

Debra, I don't have any recent photos of Screech, as soon as this blardy rain eases a bit I'll go and get some up-to-date photos of him - thanks for reminding me, I'm a bit slack with photos. He's grown quite a bit and is now almost totally feathered up, save for a bit on his chest.

Wonderful to hear all is well, Monsters. Thanks so much for the heads up. Take good care of yourself also.

Hi, Debra. Yes, was just a question of who got in first with asking. :^O I know I was dying to. Have a great day.

Adelaide was awash today for most of the day. Better than that awful humidity from the last two days. It rained so hard that my car actually got clean without me doing any of the hard work.
