WOW! Thank you so much everyone - it' lovely to have so many friends to share this with. 

Today is fairly low-key - though we are going out for dinner tonight. The big celebration will be next weekend with a family lunch at one of the Margaret River wineries. Four of our five children will be there and an asortment of grandies. Our other son from Darwin, who couldn't make it for the lunch,  is flying over with youngest grandchild for a visit on 11th a nd another granddaughter is coming from Queensland on 15th

I feel very blessed. I don't know how the years managed to slip by so quickly but it has been an eventful life - love,  joy, sorrow, success; moments when we couldn't have pulled hrough without each other, moments when it all semed too hard and it would have been easy just to walk away; but in the end looking back on that day we made our vows I think I can saely misquote Dr Seuss and say:

We meant what we said and we said what we meant:

Elephants are faithful - one hundred percent.
