You put food in the top, then wind a big screw with a handle, and squished food comes out the bottom. A mouli does a similar thing, but the one I want doesn't filter the fruit skins and you can put crunchier food in.

I can't think what it would be but I had something like this for baby foods.
I don't think it will take crunchy food though.

I didn't get any pictures of the grandchildrens performance........they preferred no cameras in the hall.
They did a great job...................our grandson danced and danced..............he just loves Gangnam.
Our grand daughter spoke perfectly............and you could hear every word she said.
We have been running around for our daughters picking up Christmas laybys............I am all shopped out.
I did get a picture of the owl costume though............it looks much better on than in the pictures.

It sounds like what you are looking for is just a manual food processor.
Personally I just think all you need these days is a stick mixer. I use mine all the time. You can get them now that have different attachments for different processing. I want one.
Right now I'm just using a cheapie from Coles.

Flashie that's great! Did you make the wings?
That's a shame about the cameras. Did they have an official photographer there for newsletter photos or anything?

I think some schools are asking for no cameras due to social networking and privacy problems with putting other people's kids online.
Joono I have a stick mixer and an electric chopper, but I think what I want must be a mincer...without a strainer.
