Yes, you are absolutely right, Fukushima and other reactors built on unstable ground, are a worry.  Fukushima has & will have effect just as Chernobyl did.  However, nobody is denying that something has to be done, and the experts are frantically searching for solutions.  Unlike climate change which is being very loudly denied.
