well we are back home, such a gorgeous day here, perfect for this afternoon's race

Just the perfect time to go shopping - breezed through the check outs without waiting lol

For someone who hates shopping - it was fantastic!

Wish I only had to shop once a year 

it's very quiet around here too Laney, in the shops and on the roads, I think lots of people have taken a 4 day weekend .

Yes, I heard that she won Deb - and that unfortunately one other horse did not make it though as they broke a leg

And...................I put $5 on a horse called "Moderate" in race 6 at Flemington for Melbourne Cup Day......................and it won.................

Careful Flashie - they might expect a 'cut' of your winnings even though you saved them some work

A horse broke its leg the last time we went to the Cup. It was awful and very upsetting to see it and to be there for the following processes.

On a happier note...Flashie, I hope you won big money. Glad you made that connection.
