Very little of which are being made. Many victims have referred to my ol mate Leon that they get dribs and drabs as offenders are able to pay "compensation" on a pay it off basis to the courts. I'd have thought the fund would be there to pay it, and anything courts can recover from offenders would then go back into it.

the law has probably changed or been 'tweaked'. i knew people in SA that recieved compensation years ago (not from an offender, from the levy)

i remember Leon, some things about Adelaide never change.

It probably sounds stupid, but keep an eye on what colour Ps she has too. My daughters green Ps had faded to aqua for which she was almost fined the same penalty as not showing Ps at all. ( she was let off with a warning).

  it's like never having left. that could have been Jeremy Cordeaux saying the same sort of thing 20 years ago. (i had a boss who forced us to listen to jeremy, i used ear plugs left over from the grand prix )

 I think the fund would always collect faster than it can be distributed. the proportion of fine that goes to into the levy does so faster than the fund via the court could ever  pay out. i think it can take years. people pay fines much more quickly despite the recidivism rates. so without the royalties someone like WA receive its probably needed. here, the fines are much the same and there is no fund.

Did your daughter know how to turn off the ligths?

 

Maybe that is why the policeman had to lean in to turn them off.

 

I would prefer to show a policeman my mobile phone for 10 seconds to check that I was not using it rather than have the police request my phone usage records from my telco.

It might depend what selfie you have as your home screen. 😉

Well, so it should collect quicker than payouts, or it would diminish, but this thing is earning more in interest alone than is being paid out, and as it is alleged Weatherill admitted, it's being used to prop up the budget.

And the Plods were put on notice last year, when the projected "income" from traffic fines fell short by 60 million. Can't be happy that people are driving to the law a bit better.
