I wasn't suggesting a special hit squad or anything like that. I was merely suggesting that the community should accept and recognise their special needs and offer due assistance.

Ok, so we could call it "Keep it off the streets".

Whadda I think, meep?

I think I can't speak Polish. 😉

Ok, got it now. A "pre-arranged fighting". Yes, that's it, but organised and supervised (from a safe distance) by the Police, maybe?

Yes, I knew what you meant.  Something like that exists in Poland - translated it means "pre-arranged fighting"

Hmm, somehow I had . . . Ustaše, also anglicised Ustashe, Ustashas or Ustashi) . . in my head back there.

getting tired.....i'm off to bed.  good night Smiley Happy

Is it racist for the NSW State Crime Command to have an Asian Crime Squad and Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad?

I don't believe so Meep.  These special squads have the appropriate ethnics who understand the culture and the language.

Interviewees are more likely to speak opening with an officer with whom they can identify.

I have an acquaintance who is in one of these squads for precisely this reason.

Well, blow me down. I never knew that Asian was a language or a discrete culture. Learn something everyday, eh?

They employ ethnics? Cat Mad
