Hi Stringers 🙂 I was in the shopping mall at 11 and almost nobody stopped, it was disappointing. I stopped and cleaners pushed past me with an annoyed look on their face, so disrespectful. The management played the last post really softly, I could hardly hear it over the noise of busy shoppers.

I made it to my meeting, so did about 40 others...it was awful because we were crammed into a room meant for 20 and it was revoltingly stuffy and hot. I thought I might do an Elizabethan swoon onto the floor lol. Just to top off the awful meeting, it was primarily by video conference and the fool operating it didnt know how, so she was in a blind panic and had to call in assistance.

I'm not a big fan of meetings, especially poorly operated ones, it went for more than an hour,criez...where is Clair, I'm criezing!

And where is Eloi? I miss eloi's insights...how dare they send him away, he's a permanent fixture of these boards. Bleepin ;\'s

Good afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Good to hear your lunch was so good Prim - good food, good wine, great view but most of all - the company of good friends.

Flashie - did you get a heated one?

We went to Monument Hill for a wreath-laying ceremony then I went to the gym.

I am now wondering why I had a steam bath Smiley LOL

Late night trip to the airport for me - traveller resting up in preparation.

.

Don't you just HATE those meetings Karen!

I have no sympathy for those presenting when they are so totally unprepared for any element of their meetings.  It is so disrespectful to the participants and so very unprofessional.

I am a hard-hearted hannah when it comes to that sort of thing.

.

I'm the same, Laney...intolerant of poorly run meetings. They're bad enough at the best of times, but the least they could've done was organise a suitable rooms... They had plenty more to choose from, AND they had email confirmation from everyone attending. They didn't even have enough chairs and some people had to stand the whole time.

AND there is always one person who asks stupid questions because they haven't prepared in advance. This time it was a plump woman in white with too-tight slacks haha

Another person stomped out half way because it was so boring lol

I suffered through it, praying quietly that I wouldn't need the smelling salts 😄

Then after the meeting I ran up to the shops for a ciggie and coffee and all was well with the world again:)
.

I am mentally preparing for one such meeting on Thursday Smiley Frustrated

AND there is always one person who asks stupid questions because they haven't prepared in advance.
