Had a bit of a scare today. I started 'seeing' yellow lightening type flashes in my left eye and was advised I might have a detatched retina. I raced off to the optometrist but it is only a jelly part of my eye detaching from the wall. It could have dragged the retina with it, but it didn't so panic over but a follow up appointment will be had with an ophthalmologist. I still can't see properly from the drops so excuse spellos please.

Flashie, get a piece of bread, pour a little boiling water on it to make a slight paste and put it on as hot as possible but don't burn yourself with a band aid or bandage.  It will stop the throbbing and by morning the prickle should be near enough to the surface to squeeze out.
