We have just gone through a severe storm cell. In the process we have lost our back fence, have half a huge gum tree in the backyard, from 2 houses away and part of another two smaller trees. A part of our two trees are in the neighbours yard.
The hail stones were about the size of small balls. Hope that it is now finished. The dog was freaking out and we had to cover him with blankets to calm him.

Yes Gill. It started without warning then the rain was a complete whiteout with extremely strong winds and hail, then we had a stillness that lasted a minute or so, then the winds, rain and hail again.
We have a fully grown fig in the front yard which is taller than the house and it was almost horizontal to the ground.

oh yuck Jean. we're supposed to be having big storms up here on Sunshine Coast, but not much sign of it yet. Although the sky is clouding over at the moment. could be one coming soon.

Suggest you all research DARPA and HAARP .....engineered storm cells, man-made lightning etc

FYI....if you 'slice' open a hail stone (larger the better) observe if it it has 'rings' of built up ice....this would be a natural hail stone. If there are no visible rings then this is a man-made hail stone........research it.

......just waiting now for the barrage of posters who regularly abuse me for posting.....oh yes! must polish up my tin foil hat too:)
