That does not state they LAUGHED at her.
Laughter or giggling indicates when someone finds something funny.....hint....

How many people are filling out paper work to purchase toy guns at exhibitions, toys r us etc,.....none.
I had a look at Toys R Us Australian online store and could not find any toy guns.
Found this on their US site:
Toy Guns
Recognizing our responsibility to provide a safe environment and safe products for our customers, we do not sell any toy gun that could be mistaken for a real gun. Toys“R”Us was the first retailer in the U.S. to adopt this policy, which has been in place since 1994.

This has become an interesting topic, i didnt realise it was that difficult to buy toy guns now. I just checked ebay listings and they are almost all water guns or scaled down replicas.
My son had a cap gun when he was younger, the novelty wore off pretty quick. Think we lent it to someone for a cowboys and indians party and never saw it again, he didnt seem to care. I'd be a bit horrified if he had something resembling the real thing and he took it to school and/or pointed it at passing traffic.
I once had a little brat pointing a laser in my rearview mirror while I was driving. His mum driving the car either didnt notice he was doing it or didnt care, she soon made him stop when my husband got out and approached her car though 🙂
