That newspaper for morons owned by Murdoch, The Daily Telegraph, has decided to run a story that no other journalist/paper was willing to touch for obvious reason - Nathan Rees had an affair.

Given that the story has no public value, why on earth would they do this??

And people read this garbage and think it's news??

If Miley Cyrus twerking is world news, why should this not be news?? Why do you think it has no public value??? Someone in a position of power sets an example, why should he be made an example of?

This was on the front page under the heading NATHAN SLEAZE i'm guessing if it was a LNP member it would be in an obscure corner on page 8, if reported at all.

Totally agree, I shake my head sometimes at the headlines of articles that call themselves "news".

I don't know who owns which news papers but.....

The Sydney Morning Herald

yahoo.com 7 news

ninemsn

ABC

The Australian

That's about the first half page, went on for 4 pages

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

News sites often leave a hole in their paywall for people who are referred to the site through search engines. Copy and paste the link to the news story into google, and then click on the link again in the google search results and there you go - full news story without subscribing.

Thanks rawrWoman Happy

Rully, I hope you're right. I finally learnt something from this forum. Cat Very Happy

Big, BIG difference in the way it was reported in the SMH in comparison to the Telegraph.

Martini, I think that Nathan Rees conducted himself like a gentleman in the interview following this 'revelation'.

I am not condoning his behaviour but he was forthright and truthfull.

INAM: "The Daily Telegraph, has decided to run a story that no other journalist/paper was willing to touch for obvious reason"
Apart from:

news.ninemsn.com
dailytelegraph.com
theaustralian.com
shanghaidaily.com
china.org
hotheadlines.com
bizbilak.com/
au.news.yahoo.com
smh.com.au
allnewsau.com
sbbcnews.com
newshour24.com/

And lots more "running" that I can not be bothered to mention.
