My daughters cost $5400. I'm paying in three installments. It really depends on what work they need doing, my sister's 24yo friend's braces cost 10k, she had 9 teeth out and her jaw broken or something and this and that. My daughter has just got the braces. The price includes all visits. She's one year into her treatment next month and her teeth are looking totally fabulous. I really really hope they don't go out of alignment after she gets them off because they can't guarantee they wont. I mainly wanted her to have them because her teeth overlapped and it's really hard to get rid of food stuck between overlapping teeth properly and I figure she'd end up with cavities. They'll be much easier for her to clean when they're straight.

My daughter had terrible overcrowding with her Seth and badgered me for years to get braces put on!
I heard they'd be around $5000 so started saving money, and hoped for a payment plan!?
I had no private h/c.
Ended up hearing about a dentist about half an hours drive who puts braces on at very low prices to make it affordable for more people.
He quoted me $2800. Just needed $800 deposit then paid off the balance over the year that she had them on, he also puts them on /off in a quick a time as possible, then the clear mouth guard is made to fit teeth perfectly and worn whenever at home/ while asleep etc.
I was so impressed and the year flew by, she as never looked back!

I also had to pay to get 2x teeth removed prior to even starting the braces.
Plus the clean & X-rays were covered by that "teen Medicare voucher" that all nsw teens get by the govt.

They charge like $60 for a consultation and a consultation is the only way you'll get any idea of what price you're up for.
